Webinar: Who’s Afraid of…Sex Education?

Date Published: July 2, 2021

In this recorded webinar, Dr. Eileen Crehan discusses sexuality and relationship education (SRE) for autistic learners and LGBTQ+ youth. SRE is, ideally, a lifelong process. Unfortunately, it is less accessible for autistic learners and LGBTQ+ youth. To understand why there are differences in access, we need to understand how sex ed is delivered. From whom do we learn about different topics? How do facets of our identity impact access to education? And finally, how can we close the access gaps for autistic and LGBTQ+ individuals?
