Who is David G. Amaral?

Photo of David Amaral, PhDDavid G. Amaral, Ph.D., is a distinguished professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and the Director of the Davis Autism Center of Excellence at the University of California, Davis. He is also the Beneto Foundation Chair and principal investigator for SPARK’s clinical site at the MIND Institute, which is dedicated to studying autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.

Who is Cynthia M. Schumann?

Cynthia M. Schumann, Ph.D., is an associate professor of Psychiatry and Photo of Cynthia Schumann, PhDBehavioral Sciences at the University of California, Davis. The overarching focus of her research laboratory is to define the neurobiological mechanisms underlying atypical cellular and molecular development of the brain in individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism, and other psychiatric disorders across the lifespan.
